Once again the NPCC cliques met up for jalan raya. Its an effort that we made to meet up annually which is gd! The numbers getting smaller due to various reasons. Yea we were 10 last time. Taken frm year 2006
bt its nt going to get smaller. *cross fingers* So who do we have. Erm we have Raudah, Sarah, Hayati, Roslinah & Nasrun.Meet up 12p.m. at bedok interchange. Only Raudah & Sarah was there. As usual the 2 other "princess" was late again. Perhaps the train has to be evacuated to serve those royal highnesses first thus the delay. lol. jk
Since, its so warm and they are wearing till the sleeve. why not go sit at macdonald and have some ice cream.

Our 1st Stop, Nasrun House
We took bus 87 to Hougang. While waiting for Nasrun coz everyone juz don believe I noe the way to his hse. Why cant they juz believe me? haiz though the last time I went was 1 yr ago bt its still clear in my mind. Oh well.

Nas came and led us to his hse. Was feeling hungry coz I noe theres gonna be many food to eat hence abstain frm food in the morn.When we reached, grab some tidbits to munch on.

The first cooked food came! Fried Nuggets. Though theres no rice and stuff bt it still DA first cook food.

Our 2nd Stop, Sarah House
Wanted to make it the last stop coz its in Pasir Ris bt of course major thumb down response. Tk 53 to Pasir Ris.

WHile her mum was cooking, grab some snacks again.
Tis taste like coffee cookie...One bite sends the aroma raveling within the mouth. nice.Well her mum did cook quite a spread! lookat tis
Lets see, we have Specially Flavored Chicken Wings, Spicy Beehoon, Crusty Bread, Mutton Stew & the Corn * my fav for the day* coz its sweet and crunchy.
And rmb to use only ur right hand to eat, tats the tradition... I was darn full when I finished my food. Bt I must leave space for the following hses.Picpression at Sarah's Hse.

Ok so heres the Star Snack , the pineapple meltz, i named it.
One bite, no don even bite juz put it in ur mouth and let the enzymes do the job, let them melt it in your mouth. The snack tat requires no toothwork. Amazing!
Raudah's mum cooked Super Huge Potatoes! Didnt noe such potatoes exist. 
With a spoon of the soup, the potatoe is a mizture of sweet and sourness plus its fully soaked means it absorb the essence of the soup base. yum.

And I guess der's some sort of fatigue in everyone of us at tat point of time. Coz Jalan Raye as the name suggest itself means u go to jalan which means walk. And we've walk quite a lot.When we reach, I notice the white orchid which looks stunning. Took a shot bt sarah is so ready to be shot with the orchid. lol.

Ros's mum bght Kueh Tu Tu according to chinese bt its called Gula Malacca. Coz the fillings is sweet. 
Tis is Beehoon Goreng Combined with Mee Goreng. Prefer the Beehoon coz very full alr which Beehoon is considered bite size compared to the latter.

Our 4th & final Stop, Hayati's House
Tk 63 to Eunos and walked a lil bit.Everyone called her the 'waitress' cz shes hlding the tray.haha.
There were some kuehs waiting for us bt everyone was full tank alr. Nonetheless it looks and taste great!The Banana Kueh
The "Brownies" though nt the actual name bt it is brown wad.
I noe tis is coconut bt it looks like pandan so I call it Pandan Kueh or the most environmental Kueh.

After which walk to mrt and bid farewell to nas, ros and raudah. Train and send sarah hme coz its near the forest. Oh well burn some calories. haha. And bused hme.And thank you! all the mum and siblings who Cooked and serve for us such good food! & giving me green packets even though I'm not a true blue malay.
Hopefully, next yr I can drive everyone ard so we need not walk as far and its less tiring. Not only to pay back the hospitality bt its a more convenient alternative. Till then. =)
