The Last Day of 2007...

I spent my last day of 2007 with fiq and koon. We went to bugis to shop. I wanted to buy a new bag coz the old one wear out. walk around the shops and went to the first shop we entered which is zinc.. how tiring... We chill at bugis basement cafe and played our PSP. The time was 5.30p.m. our plan is to watch the fireworks at marina bay. I knew that there will be many people so we decided to head there early for a spot. When we reach there, the crowd was so-so I guess to early...

We headed to Mac to eat dinner while fiq went for his prayers. when he came back, he stayed a few mins and went to prayers again.. afterwhich, we went to the merlion to find a spot. The time was 6.30, 7plus... crowd started to gather but not that much. I was thinking what can we do for the next 5Hrs!!. the only thing is PSPing.

So koon and I continued playing PSP to kill time bt ended up battery will go dead anytime. It was 9.30pm so wad are we going to do until 12...OMG. So boring... then there was this bunch of youngsters singing donno wad shit..so annoying felt like kicking them down the river...beside us were a bunch of indian communities also very noisy... Around 11.30 ppl at the bridge started screaming then ppl around us as well...its like quite dumb coz the countdown haven start yet...
Then one person stood up and look somewhere. the people around him also stand up to see what his looking ended up everyone's sitting stood up. How ridiculous..

And the moment that everyone's been waiting for .5.4.3.2.1 Boom! fireworks flare up
to the sky in symphony to the music they played and together with the choir chorus. It was a full 8 mins.

Afterwhich, everyone scrambled rushing to the nearest train station... It was so packed and jammed that we cant even move...Stoning for mins.. then the police blocked the road and everyone walk on the road... my first time and with cars beside us... Took the train at raffles place.. I thought there will be a lot of crowd bt it didnt seem like... Drop at Pasir Ris... headed to the bus interchange, bt there was no BUS.. wtf I thought SBS say they will extend their bus service till 4 am. where is it why cant i see any bus moving.. So in the end I decided to take cab. But all was hired wtf.. so I walked home from Pasir Ris Interchange to my house. walked from 1a.m. to 2.30a.m.!! indeed a happy new year
