Wads wrong wif people frm Hong Kong, Malaysia and S'pore... Can u believe, we the more Developed COuntries are buying more than wad we need compared to ppl in Cambodia, Mynmmar and the Phillipines which they are really really in need of rice... I must admit we are the perpetrators of the Rising Rice Price... Perhaps they should take up enteprise modules...to pt in their mind that.."The more you buy, the more the demand thus the prices will increase as well.. Who will suffer in the end, the ppl in the less developed countries of course. Because of our selfish and uncompassionate actions... As they are already poor, suppliers raised prices and they got to eat less and be malnutritioned.. then the UN will need to step in, and they will ask more funds from us. And when they do ask money, taxes etc will increase...Its like a chain reaction...
Seriously, how much can 1 eat. A normal 5 KG rice perhaps can last you for ard a month or so... and ppl are like buying 5 or more packets!
The saying goes You reap what you sow... you buy more in a row, in the end, you pay more when ur Old. A friendly advise frm the blog..=)
