To start off, Happy Mother Day to All mums out there... Thank you for everything!
And today, after the official opening of the southern ridges by Prime Minister Lee Hsieng Loong yesterday. Today marks the 2nd day of the opening. My parent and I decided to take a look on this magnificent project developed by Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA)
1st We went to the Henderson Waves. Its very impressive. The View was superb. And the architecture is thumbs up. It was sunny yet windy so its ok for even the young and old. Took some pictures and carried on the Forest Trail. This Bridge is built to allow commuters to trail through the rain forest without stepping on soil/mud. Its pretty scary if you have alto phobia( terms for fear of height)
For My mum, by the time she reached there, shes alr panting. Tats the result of not exercising often. So we didnt actually walked the whole 9 km. Apparently, about 2km of walk we headed back. Its really a masterpiece to be able to build in between ridges. However, some trees had to make ways but majority is still intact.
Overall, the hike was pleasant. Definitely will go back and complete the 9km trail.
