Registered the team and change to our Bright Orange nEbO shirt dubbed "The Quest '08" The organizers handed out the passbook and we planned our route. There are 7 Checkpoints.
1st Botanic Garden
2nd Esplanade
3rd Fort Canning
4th Simei
5th Pasir Ris Interchange
6th Pasir Ris PArk Car Park
7th Downtown east (Ending Point)
We have to wait for Lim Swee Seng arrival to launch the race... Meanwhile Sheik Haikal de Mc for the race told everybody to stand up and stretch our body. Jared who was standing beside the balloon accidentally touch it and it burst... wads hilarious is the uncle in charge of it kept cursing us i thing...haha bt it was funny...
When Mr Lim arrived, he made some speeches yada yada yada & the horn sounds!
At this moment the balloon burst releasing atmosphere of hydrogens & a sea of orange race to their 1st checkpoints.
Meanwhile, we the RP nEbO team walked to dhoby guat mrt station to Orchard and tk a bus to Botanic Garden...At the bus stop you can see tonnes of orange shirt filled the Bus... We had no chance bt to wait for other bus
Reaching Botanic Garden we had to go to a checkpoint at Eco Garden which is on the other side of the Botanic Garden... At the same time, called jelynn and asked for answers on the activity as in the passbook there are 2 activity to complete. 1 is action 1 is theory
Reaching Checkpoin E.G we have to sketch 3 leaves of diff kind that they want us to... It took us 1 and a half hr to complete this checkpoint and we only have 5 hrs to complete entirely.
Next wld be Esplanade, tk from newton to raffles place and sprint to merlion park where our team were tasked to do this...
Afterwhich we sprint to Fortcanning.. Oh boy let me tell u this fort is sure high...It was raining and we have to climed many steps to reached the peak..Then they want us to do skipping and make action at the same time... Failed it bt luckily we completed activity 2...
Next we sprint again to CityHall Mrt and to Simei...Meantime, we have to come out with a song for NTUC for the checkpoint at PAsir Ris Interchange...
At simei, we need to name 5 housebrand products for instance rice, distilled water etc.. we didnt go coz we know wad brand they have we saved us time of course. and jared bght fried chicken from pasar malam which filled our stomach for a while..
however, one of the marshall there was undoubtedlly rude... he said "my boss say if anyone put ham, tell them to f*** off." this is unacceptable as a marshall representative of nEbO..words coming out of you is seemingly disgrace to the reputation of neBo and NTUC... we have other things to do so we juz carried on to Pasir Ris Interchange
At the interchange, we had to sing a song for grps of 3 ppl... so we approached this 2 teenage gal and 1 guy and sang our song..

And on a scale of 1-10 they gave us 10 marks which gave us more points. Thx a million!
Next we sprint to pasir ris park carpark and were tasked to do relay running... and clocked 23 secs... again the marshall were not coordinated, they did not know whose passbook to mark and belong to which cost us dear time...
Finally, after completing the checkpoint we sprint to the ending point,downtown east... It was the run of my life. never did i run so badly... Upon reaching , there were teams sitting alr... so i guess we didnt win...took our goody bag which they claimed worth $50 0ver dollars which is not...
and drank some unlimited cups of milos sponsored by Milo shiok!
Sat down and rest till they tabulate the results and a couple of performance by 2 band one named black star, the other sexist...
Black star wasnt that nice, the vocalist kept screamoing bt the drummer was good
Sexist was better, their players and vocalist were wow!
And its time for the results... from 1st to 15th theres prizes. which ranges from cathay movie ticks, cheers cash vouchers, Motorola E8rkr head set, Motorola Laptop case, Motorola e8rkr phone, Gap Perfume, 8gb Ipod Nano and medals...
bt we didnt win any of this... we won the experience...
