Yes, as of today, Mr Narthan is coming to RP for a visit for god knows what its for.
Anyway, I noticed something. Whenever, a VVIP is coming to RP, we can see decorations and maintainence done everywhere around RP.
Or shld I say parts where the President can "see" if u noe wad i mean.
The facets of the human can really be seen juz by this visit. Its generally all for "SHOW" no offense.
But think about it, before the president come do we have Super Wide SHelter?
Before the president comes, do we have webmail saying cant wear tis, don wear tat?
Before the president comes, I don see banners and flags flying in a bid to show our "patriotism" to s'pore.
Before the president comes, do you see cleaners wiping the windows dilligently. Perhaps yes but not as frequent
SO why are "they" doing this. Tats because Mr Narthan is coming, therefore we have an "image to keep"
Even in my secondary/ primary sch days, when some VIP kicks in for a visit. The sch will be busy updating the students on the conduct, cleanliness and many renovation works.
I was thinking, what if those VVIPS do not come for 10, 20 years.
Does that mean, student have less concern, for instance the extension of the shelter?
Perhaps I may be wrong, I'm juz penning down what i observed. And all this goes into my eyes.
