What's after the Olympic Dream, Eating of Course...

After the "Olympic" Match, its time to fill our stomach. And yes, we went back to the Oasis aka "Taiwan Porridge" Because in taiwan, that's what they usually eat for breakfast with Sweet Potatoe in it.

Its located opposite HDB Hub. A stand alone building beside the Toa Payoh stadium with blue neon lights surrounding the structure.Went in with Mum & Sis first while dad wait for a parking lot. Dammn I hate parking cars. Because it caused my dad 20 mins juz to wait for a lot. Bt then again, if we took public transport, I tink the time equates or perhaps more and inconvenient.

So we waited for him before mum asked them to bring out the food.




The Maroon bucket in which the porridge are filled with sweet potatoes. Food was as usual.
But location wise, no no. Parking problems, getting more expensive.
Sis and I still prefer the one beside Kallang Stadium where the restaurant sits on the sea bed.

Too bad our gahmen wan to reclaim it to build a World Class Sports Hub for a better future. -_-
Soon, S'pore no more heritage. Even if there is, it will be artificial. You wont get it now, perhaps 30, 40 yrs later.

You will say: "eh I thght last time here gt the hawker sell food and the uncle who sells newspaper on his bicycle. Huh! why now change to a high class French Alfresco Dining. Wtf! where is my Favourite "Zher Cha" stall *Seafood Stall* ?!" ya perhaps it will soon be a reality. Oh well.

After dinner, sent mum hme as she want to go hme slp. Dad, Sis & I went to watch movie @ e!hub.

They asked what movie we are watching *coz Im buying the ticks* I said "Journey to centre of the earth* then they all asked what movie is tat & give me the "is tis movie really nice and good" kind of face."

Perhaps the movie name sounds lengthy and sci fi. But I still tell myself, its gonna be a great show. Wait till they watch then they will say wa! wad a nice show. Till then, let them be filled with skepticism.

The movie started quite boring. Then both of them were looking at me again with their "is tis movie really nice and good" kind of face. I ignore them and continues to watch.

As the time runs, the movie escalates as well. I can see them totally immense within the movie and its character. They weren't looking at me anymore but it was ME who stare at them.

Giving them a "see! I told u its a gd movie" kind of face. Of course they didnt see it coz they were too engrossed.

Seriously the movie is great! FIlled with action and suspense. Heard, it was 3D at some other cinemas. Bet it would be better with the giant eating fish and chasing humans dinosaur coming out of the screen. 4/5 stars.

At the end of the movie, dad kept saying how great, how wonderful it was compared to money no enough 2. and bla bla bla. I'm only smiling in my heart. =)

Sad to say, its been long since we 3 watch a movie together. Today was juz perfect. Dad & Sis have their off day. If not there wldnt be a slightest chance tat we catch a movie at wee hrs. So I'm really grateful and thankful for this opportunity.
