Singapore GrandPrix: Formula 1 Live...

Today was a historical moment not only for S'pore but for me as well. I am going to be watching the Formula 1 live. In 50 or 60 yrs down the road, I can tell my grandchildren tat Ah Gong once watch the F1 live. Lol. Okay Im crazy, ignore tis.

Anyway, back to the actual stuff. Assembled @ kallang MRT. As I've mentioned before, we are the "priviledged" one coz we are deployed to the VIPs areas. The only ppl I noe is vivian. As for Jun Hui & Hanny, they MIA coz gt sch. Oh well.

We tk the Chartered bus frm Kallang to gate 1 which is at the S'pore Flyer vicinity.
Was stopped by a guard coz got no pass. So in charge make some call here and there and we are in. Security was tight to the maximum. Every part of you is screened...

Initially, it was nth. No action, only ppl roaming...So we went to collect the survival Kit tat we are going to sell. A Poncho in case it rains and a ear plug coz it gets really loud! $2 each, proceeds goes to charity.

We took our 5litre donation tin and a bagful of survival kits. Vivian was my buddy so we were assigned to help each other. The Sun was scorching hot! We took to the shade.
We started selling. The sales was slowly picking up as the time ticks.

Vivian sells more coz shes standing at strategic location..
We came across many foreigners ranging for the Great Britain, USA, Germany, India, Nigera and Japan!!! And I said "Kon ba wa" to 2 japanese and they were shocked tat i noe jap. haha.

I seriously think ang moh are better compared to S'poreans. Ang Mohs are so generous and the way they speak are so open and friendly. Nt saying all S'poreans are bad. Some donated $50 juz for like 3 packets of survival kits.

And some of the ladies are hot. real real hot. for vivian its hot to the guys. And then there was a stream of toyota crews juz flown in to s'pore. one battalion of them marching in.

Next were another battalion of police. Lol like class excursion to me...

Bt some spectators are snobbish coz they juz ignore us. Oh well there are all kinds of ppl in tis world.

Then, ard 3pm we heard some engines rumbling...Thght were the F1 bt actually its the Porsche race. Their engines were loud bt wait till u hear the F1. Snap some pictures of it. And head back to work.

I was approaching tis guy. Asked him whether he needs a kit. He says his from the S'pore Tourism Board In charge. And he needs 200 kits! So he asked me to help him carry to the suite.
On the way, we saw the word "CIPs" and he asked me what does it mean? If VIPs stand for Very impt people then wad is CIPs. I'd dono and he told me it stands for "Commercially Important People" Tat means in the business world, they are the important ppl...

He kept apologizing for having me to walk so long bt haven go the suite yet. Bt I was alright as I get to glismpe at the suite. When we reached, he opened the sliding door.
Asked me put down the Box of kit. Took a champagne along with a plate of Chocolate and let me eat! At that point of time, I felt like a VIP.
Without paying a single cent, I enjoyed the life of a SUper Rich which one have to pay thousands of dollars to be in one.

Afterwhich, I asked to take photos of the suite and he juz say "go go , carry on" in a friendly tone.
I was like u serious. Tis is for the VIP bt he was alright with it. =)

I walked to the balcony and open the door. The gust of wind juz blew pass me. And I could see the tracks clearly and visibly! It was magnificent. The seats and facilities were lavish.

When I was abt to go, he asked whether I wan to see the Sky Suite. I was like OMG! of course I would. My eyeballs were nearly popping out, ok juz kidding. Bt its like surprise after another.
Went up the the sky suite and it was really high! Better photos opportunity. So I tell myself one day, tis is the life I would want to live.Afterwhich, I went back to stroll ard my self. So cool. I went back and was telling vivan abt the trip and she was full of envy. Haha.
Bt its nt my fault, coz the box of survival kit is too heavy for gals. lol

Ard 6p.m. we sold a few thousands alr. And when its dinner time, we dont have coupons tat we shld have and so we couldnt go to the cafeteria to eat. We told our in charge bt by the time its settled, theres only fried rice left which taste like plain rice. So we went to the grandstand area to buy food bt the price was super high like one hotdog $10!The food tat we are deprived off coz gt no coupons.

Tis time, the engine rumbles again. It was louder and more pitchy. Yes it were the F1 cars starting their engines. So vivian and I rush to catch the action. In the midst, saw massa in his ferarri. The red car below...
And these 2 are nt ordinary Mercedes. Their engines are equally powerful. Coz they are the support and technician crew. Have to get to the F1 cars asap if it crash.
Some conflicts with the police and poor boy was arrested on the 1st day of F1. who ask u go against the law.Rhumba Sambal. Brazillian Dancers.
Initially, we were at the commoner area, not at the grand stand there.
The following are some videos and photos. I tried going to different places to give different coverage of the F1. Hope yall appreciate it.This is the backview of the Grandstand. Crossing to the other side of the tracks.

Next, we went up the grandstand its like we no need pay and we get to sit and watch. Haha. The opportunity cost is low.Real Brightness.

At some areas where the track was straight, the F1 car juz zoom~, then zoom~ and zoom~. Super Fast! Til the extend if u turn your head from left to right too fast, you may break it. Even my camera couldnt catch it!
And the sound was so loud. Really Really need to wear earplugs! or nt we would have gone deaf...

It so much fun. To seep into the atmosphere. Burning rubbers and some car crash into the wall. LOL tat was a funny scene.some VIps cars.

After the 2nd practice session. Vivian and I tk the chartered bus and mrted hme. Was a fun day and night.Hmm I wonder when the F1 cars pass by Marina Square, did they slot in their cashcard in the IU unit.LOL. Tats all? No. For a better F1 Experience, click on any of the videos to try and feel the speed, the sound and the rush. Don wry the vids are short, longest is only 4 mins.
