Anchorvale Swim & Nyonya Buffet

Wednesday as a holiday is getting shorter as we promote to year 3. Hence, its best to make use of it.

Therefore, today jun teng, hanny, jun hui and me agreed to meet up. Its a privilege tat jun teng can come out. Its the first time he met us and tat PP is over tat is why he cld. =)

We agreed to meet at sengkang ard 10-11a.m. In the end I was the earliest again. I dislike to be early because it means longer waiting. The station is quiet and conducive. So I took a nap in the station. Jun Hui came at 11.30 a.m. and we went to buy breakfast. Called hanny and his still at hme sleeping. He said his clock is not 11a.m. yet. -_- He arrived at 12 p.m. ,absolutely marvellous. Jun teng can't make it for the pool bt cld make it for the buffet.

Went to exit D and tk a bus to anchorvale community club. After alighting the bus, it seems like we chance upon the wilderness. Theres barely a single soul ard. Theres echo as we talk. Cool! Wad a wonderful secluded place.

The bus stop is juz a five min walk from the pool. And finally we reach Anchorvale Swimming complex.Amazingly the facilities are diverse and unique. They have an indoor Olympic size pool.Theres a Jacuzzi corner.
Children's Playground.Interactive Play Slides.There's an open door pool.
I guess our favorite would be tis.The one on the left is dark and fast. Initial phase is slow nt scary at all bt when at the 2nd phase, the whole body will plummet down at full velocity. so fast tat the water will engulf u once u hit the waters.

The one on the middle is a new for us. An open air slide. The thing is to be on a sit position and not lying down. Because water will rush to ur nose when one reach the bottom. Overall, its a cool place to relax and wind down.

Bath and off to Nyonya buffet at bugis.We tk LRT back to sengkang mrt. Its my first time taking LRT. Kinda windy on the platform because the surroundings are juz forest and more forest. This place is super ulu. Only us at the platform.

Reached Sengkang Mrt, tk train to Dhoby Ghuat and reach dhoby ghaut changed to city hall then frm city hall to bugis. We change the train till we are confused. At tat point everyone is hungry and looks forward for the buffet. Bt its raining heavily. Gt only 1 umbrella.

Anyhow, we reach the nyoya buffet opp bugis junction. There's alot of aunties, uncles and tais tais coming for High tea. Nt much variety. Only the kuehs, rojak, laksa, chicken curry mee, popiah, chee kueh, desert and fruits. Jun teng joined us in between.I realized tat i did nt insert the memory card in the camera.-_- gt to use my handphone then. bt still took some shots from camera coz gt internal memory.

So the tables and chairs are very narrow. And theres tis auntie chit chatting. I guess u noe wad they chit chat. those small thing like street talk and nonsense topic. So one of the auntie was so kaypoh.

I was taking photo of the food and she say to her friend, another auntie bt quiet one. "My son also like tat, like to take photo of food etc etc." Then when hanny take a bowl full of curry chicken. then she say "tis boy can eat alot ar, take so many chicken."

Then when jun teng take curry chicken mee she asked jun teng "Why u nv pour soup on the mee." At tat point, I felt like taking the ondeh odeh and stuff it into her mouth. Ppl like to eat wad that's ppl's prob. Jun teng didn't put the soup because he can't take spicy. So why bother. -_-

Anyway back to the food. nt much variety bt still hungry so we tk quite alot of portion. The service is excellent. The clear the plates as soon as its empty and fill ur cups quickly. The chee kueh is special coz its gt fillings inside. nv tried tat be4.
The rojak is DIY. Can add as much filling as one prefer. The best is the ondeh ondeh. Once you bite it, the coconut juice will squirt in ur mouth. Its very explosive. haha.very gd.

Another funny thing is when jun teng wants a laksa. Jun hui and hanny specially added ingredients to spice it up. Looking at jun teng face when he eats is hilarious. And the squabbling.
Afterwhich, asked a friendly waitress to help us take a group shot. As u can see the crowd dispersed very quickly after tea time. I was so bloated by then. So wad I do after eating buffet is go to the arcade and play basketball. Abit weird bt it sure helps to ease the fullness.

So hanny tried to use 2 hand to shoot the ball. Apparently it doesn't work. We saw a young lady and her younger sister I presume playing the basketball. And every ball she throw went in. Her younger sister was gd as well given her height.

Jun teng played the tekken resurrection 5. Super pro. I realized one thing. Everyone has a unique ability bt it juz tat in life we don get to tap it all the time. so its kinda sad.

Played till 8plus. bght yakult and went hme.
