Today my family, all in all 14 ppl went to the temple to pay respect to my late grandma. There was some kind of ritual carnival, nt really sure wad they doing.
Placed the offering properly and afterwhich burn the joss papers. The furnace is so hot and we got to stand so near to burn the papers. And when the wind swipe past, tornado like ash will spiral ard and land on everyone's shirt and hair.
Headed to Suntec for buffet. There's tis manager. So inflexible, we have 14 ppl bt we got to split and sit at different places. So wads the point of meeting up if we ended up not sitting together.
He said it was reserved bt all i see is people who come in juz take up the seat. And they come in at different time so how can the 14 seat table be reserved. Apparently, he lacks gd management skill.
Fortunately theres an indian manager. He arranged for us a table for everyone. We ate from 11a.m. to 3p.m. which inclusive of alot of talking and chatting like renovation of my uncle hse etc and planning to go overseas during christmas other than our trip to m'sia tis weekend. cool. =)
Afterwhich went to shop ard. In between my cousin, xiao yi and me decided to go kbox at marina square. so the rest of my family and cousins who doesnt wan to go, went to eat dinner.
We went in at 7p.m. My cousin knows almost every song we play so the microphone is always in his hands. -_-
ard 11.30 the kbox staff say gt a game called "whose the monkey." Then my cousin started laughing hysterically coz the name is so stupid.
We went to the reception counter and there was a 4 sided silver table placed right at the entrance of Marina kbox. On it was 4 different drink and an empty cup.
Wad we have to do is send a representive from each room. we are rm 18. And randomly pick a card from a set of poker. Afterwhich put the poker card on your head. You can look at others bt nt urs. So when its ur turn you can add any amt of drink into the empty cup. So the loser is either the one with the biggest/smallest no. Depending on the manager who decides.
There were 8 representative present excluding the dozen of supporters.
So one by one the representative are eliminated and frm the looks of their face, the drink seems to be quite disgusting. In the end, its only left with me and a girl. So I started first and pour half cup of a brown color drink. She pour a lil because shes afraid tat it might be her.
Theres another empty cup, the manager then said ok the empty cup tat you pour into, tis you will nt drink. So she pour almost everything and left a lil.
Turn out the manager trick her and say loser gt to drink the fuller cup. When we flip out our card, I gt a K and she gt a 10. I won coz biggest no. win. She drank it and say it taste really gd.
I tink i noe why because they pour half cup of sweet syrup into the drink! which she didnt noe was added into it! lol.
And so we won a prize and will be delivered to our room. Went back to our rm and told xiao yi tat we won. My cousin was like, the prize if gd must give him. -_-
Then the prize came in and it was a jar of lemonade. My xiao yi and I laughed. Nw he can have the prize. lol Bt wad we thght is perhaps they cld give us a voucher or smth to make customer come back. oh well.
We sang till 1a.m. and god i gt sch tmr.
My xiao yi sent us hme and nw im in sch blogging with my puffy eyes. tts all.
