And Here I am blogging bout my M'sia T^rip.. First of all, i wan to be thankful tat all my family came back safe and sound. Juz read through the newspaper and found out a dad gt killed in car accident, another 10 killed and 18 hurt in tour bus at the NS highway, which we were using to travel to M'sia. thank god.
Woke up at 4.15a.m. no one was up. everyone was still sleeping incluuding my cousin Jia Wei who stayed over as his parents went over to hong kong.
Left the house at 4.30a.m. Met at tampines with my ah gong, xiao yi, Da Yi and family.
Why we wake up so early is to avoid the jam at the Custom Checkpoint.
But then the nightmare turned to reality. At 5a.m. we were about to reach the checkpoint but there were many cars joining us!!!. This results to a massive jam that stretch a few km long! -_-
And there were some inconsiderate drivers who tried to cut queue. -_- of course the drivers in the queue are all experienced which gave them no chance to come into the lane. Ard 7a.m. customs officer came and control the traffic. Those who tried to cut queue were asked to U-turn and join the queue. This means even longer waiting time for them. Which is good. Lesson learnt so they wont do it again.
Finally at 9a.m. we took a strenous 4 hrs to reach the checkpoint booth. Get our passport checked and everyone went for toilet break. And there was this incident. I took a photo of my sis, dad and jiawei at the checkpoint. Then theres tis custom officier, he shouted and dash toward us. He say NO PHOTOTAKING!
He asked to check my camera, showed him and he asked to delete all the photos that I have taken here. -_- ok so i deleted but even the photos before the checkpoint also have to be deleted. which is ridiculous because it is not within the compound of the checkpoint.
Actually I intended to show the massive jam but i guess its impossible now.
Afterwhich the supervisor came over and he spoke to us in a very polite way. Which is good. Unlike the guy who dash over. Its totally the other end of the spectrum.
Enough said. We board the car and headed to the M'sia custom... and there was another jam.
Seriously, jam is a mood spoiler. sitting in the car and move every 20 min or smth is really frustrating. Moreover the holiday is short. I'm sure everyone wld want to maximise the time they can spend.
However, it wasnt as long as the one at the S'pore Custom. Which is a relief.
We then carry on the car journey. Met up with my uncle along the way. So we formed a 3 car convoy. It's better to go in a big grp if you are going to m'sia for security reason.
We are heading to malacca. We are being invited by our relatives in M'sia to attend a wedding at Malacca. And wads unique is tat they start the wedding at 12p.m. in the afternoon. Usually wedding are in the night. bt tis is nt. lol.
We have 249km before we reach Malacca! made one stopover, fill up our hungry stomach and carry on. Here is the coffeeshop
Good Business for them as there are loads of S'poreans queing up. haha.

i was thinking. "are we flying?! are we flying?! bt tis is nt changi airport!, we shldnt be flying!" because one can feel the car is slowly lifting up and floating on the air .omg shit tis is seriously fast.
Mum then asked dad to slow down which he did of course or else we'd be flying all over on the NS highway. haha.
Look at the Touch N Go signboard. It works like our EZ-Link Card. Juz tap at the receiver and off you go. Fast and Easy. Tis is wad ppl like us need. Coz holiday is short and we've gt a wedding to attend!!!
Finally after a gruelling and occasional intense car ride, we reached Bandar Malacca..
Pay again..zzz.
Reached the Restaurant ard 1p.m. so we were abt 1 hr late. Fortunately, our M'sian relatives were understanding and hold back the ceremony.

When the wedding end, its time to go to our Hotel to Check In. Like finally. Super Tired.
We'd be living in Century Makota Hotel. Look at tis white building. Its our hotel.

There were 2 rooms, so half of the grp slept at each room. Guys who are nt married gt to sleep at the living room. Get wad I mean? tat means like my dad sleep with my mum and my big aunt sleep with my big uncle. so in the end, all the singles gt to sleep outside. Its ok since we are guys.
Ard 6p.m. we gathered at the lobby and wait for our 2nd GrandAunt and her family to bring us eat dinner. Everyone call her "Ber Yi." in hokkien. Meanwhile, xiao yi, jia wei, por yee and me went to explore the facilities. Theres karoaoke, carom room, gym, table tennis, mini golf coures, spa, pool, Cafe Lounge. Bt we have no time to use it. oh well.
Head back to the lobby and met up with Hui Yi & sis. Decided to eat the cakes at the cafe. We ordered Blueberry Cheesecake, American Cheesecake, Marble Cheesecake and a Mocca.
The Marble Cheesecake and the American Cheesecake were gd. Bt for the mocca and blueberry, nth much to mention abt.
She brght us to eat SteamBoat.
The Steamboat was great. Half Tom Yam & Half Chicken broth. And the ingredients were complimenting with the soup. FOr instance, the beehoon, if you dip into the tom yam and eat it. It will absorb the soup and turns the bee hoon to be very succulent.
No pics though, was charging camera batt.
After the steamboat, head back to the hotel, wash up and sleep.
An empty street, an empty house, a hole inside my heart. random. haha.
