In this movie, Tom Cruise acted as a Colonel in the Nazis during WWII.
The show started off with him speaking german. For once I thght I'm watching a foreign film.
Luckily it transits to english later on.
It started off with a booming scene in the battle field, bombarded by allies warjets.
Kudos to vivo city sound system. Its terribly good.
Tom Cruise was injured in the battle and afterwhich return back to berlin.
In berlin, he was pulled into a cell grp where they planning to assassinate hitler. As they feel that his empire is crippling & cld nt sustain for long. Hence the contingency plan would be to assassinate him, replace his govt and start a new sacred germany.
The plan is known as Operation Valkyrie.
The movie was dammn thrilling. Gt the suspense, gets u off ur seat at times and the feeling whereby u see tom cruise abt to succeed which most prob is the climax bt end up he failed.
It is nt those dark ninja japan film where they take the sword and bushido the general. no.
It is a well intellectually plan assasination which is remarkably commendable. How I wish they succeed. I guess it will really change the face of germany.
This movie is generally for the avid history ppl of WWII or if u seek excitement. Go for tis movie if u seek thrill coz its seriously thrilling. 3/5. A pity tom cruise cld have played the role better. its hard to get tat patriotic feel frm him. maybe overdose of MI3. lol.
plus they talk abt SS, SA and the reserve army etc. It reminds me of Mr Najib. haha.
