Tamiya

So when we talked about Tamiya Racing, for most guys, I guess it brings back the days where we would spend our pocket money to buy those mini-sized cars. And we will always UPGRADE, UPGRADE & more UPGRADE. This leads to spending, spending and more spending!!!

Because we would only want to beat the rest and be the best. Yup. Thats the mindset to out-win your competitors, with the alpha male mindset. For me, I spent hundreds perhaps thousands, on "toys".

If U'd rmb Beyblade, Pro Yo, Garuda, Gun-dam and probably the famous Pokemon. I have a couple of stash in my storeroom, nt willing to throw away. Maybe someday, it can be donated to the Toy Museum.

Back to the topic Tamiya.
At this place, theres bigger boys, in their late twenties or even thirties! playing Tamiya. This group of people are the low risk bunch. They do not want to risk their lives by racing illegally on the streets.
I supposed it's a wise decision.
No. 1 You get to "zhng"(modify) your car without VICOM chasing behind your back.
No. 2 You'd be in full control. On real road, the faster you go, the lesser control you have of your car, due to the speed and collective force created by it. However, on this track even if one hit the bumper, you can juz pick up and put it on the right track again.

Preparing for the race

And here are some of the participating racers

Here we go!

Beating the curve

Catching Up

Fastest Car

"Hey you...go faster! "

"Hmpf"

Then there's the dirt track

Koon & I were discussing about picking up Tamiya racing as the new hobby. It seems fun & exciting. You get to race with other "racers" & put some controlling skills to it.
But the bad thing is, one car cost ard 350SGD. Contemplating whether is it worth or not?
