The Sun was at it's 30 degree angle above the ground, shining on the sea of red. For those who didn't wear red. There's only 2 possibility. 1. they are not singaporeans, foreigners. 2. Inadequate Patriotism. like my mum lol.
Went with my dad & mum. Dad parked his car at a secluded area with free parking yet close to the One Fullerton. There were barriers surrounding the roads, a sign to show tat the roads are closing soon.
We wanted to enter through merlion park/one fullerton bt the police said no entry anymore, to minimize congestion. Switched our route and found a spot on the esplanade bridge
*road to be exact*
We have the thank the flower that beautify the city, for it blocked our view of the sea. Thanks flower! tsk.
It's only wad 5 when we arrive. and the show starts at 6.45p.m. so mum and i decided to sit down. so nobody was or were sitting on the road. a few moments after we sat down, the crowd started to sit one by one, group after group. people see people do. lol.
Dad is even more pro. He went back to the car to take table and chair. LOL!. luckily, I told him to drop the table, such an awkward scene.
Cameras getting ready, all set and go!
Ard 6.45, the paratroopers began descending from the atmosphere. I had to pick my father in, who went to take the chair as no one was allowed on the bridge unless their family bring them in.
That chair really comes in handy. I instantly rose to 2m and above and could see all the actions of NDP. I bet all the ppl ard me were cursing: "I hope this guy fall to his knees and break his spine" tts because the flowers were blocking their view. Their perturbed face were written all over their complexion.
The Chasing Actions
Look at the police man, his staring at me. His probably wondering why I became so tall. haha.
And then the Chinook came to the rescue. Everyone was cheering when they see the national flag on the helicopter. But why don they cheer when they see the flag being hung on HDB flat.tsk.
I guess this is the part where most ppl had fun, when the chinook turbines rave up the sea water and sprinkled among the crowd.
mission accomplished.
The Apache to the resuce.
Giving a salute...

More to come...
