ALPHALOGY: Genting Highland

This trip consists of my parents and I, ah gong, da yi, da yi zhang, gugu, and Kelly jie Jie. The rest of the cousins and sis didn’t go. They have exams or work. So sad.

As the Bus drifts further and further from the east and towards the checkpoint, I felt my burden gets lighter and lighter. Perhaps, I’m gg on a holiday? Hence the good feeling. All those projects, GPA, exams don’t seem to bother me anymore. Temporarily at least. For now, I can breathe easy. Really easy.

We reached genting around 4-5 a,m. Due to a jam near KL. Can u believe it ?! Jam in the middle of the night for 3 and a half hour is major turnoff. How I wish there’s a teleportation machine that could bring us up immediately. Plus I can’t seem to sleep on the bus like everyone else. Don’t know why. But as I looked up, I can see stars much brighter and shinier than those on our national flag. The lamp lights in sg had captured away the beauty of the night skies. As such, I can only appreciate it away from Singapore.

It’s my 1^st time taking coach up the highlands. The previous times were on cable car. All I can say is the road is too curvy. Too much for the big bus to handle. A slight mistake could topple the bus. Nevertheless, It’s exciting and exhilarating like a coaster.

We checked in and planned to meet at 10a.m. the following day. The hotel room has a simple and clean design. Nice.

I woke up and lash open the curtain and clouds can be seem roaming across the room. The weather is SO GOOD. I wished Singapore had that!

Met at the hotel restaurant and had our breakfast. It was bad. Real Bad. Tasteless and cold.

After breakfast, we walked around and explore. I guess genting had changed a lot. The memory in my mind doesn’t really match that of the present now.

Kelly jie jie and “Gu Gu”*uncle* say it with a low tone. Gu~ Gu~ yes u got it. Haha.

Ah gong getting emo. No, his not, just admiring the scenic. Lol.

We went to the Theme Park. Bought the All in One Package at 51RM due to super peak period.

Da yi kept complaining not to take the scary rides. Haha. But gugu tricked her into saying it’s not scary at all. To calm the mood, we took a tram that rounds the entire theme park.

This is the scariest roller coaster.

Python. Had to pay to take a photo. However, I snap and run. Lol.

And rmb gugu told dayi abt the non scary ride. This is the one. From the ride, it looks like a subtle slide. In fact it differs from what is seen below.

So everyone tried except for dad and da yi zhang coz they are over 70kg, not allowed to ride. kinda sad.

The ride is very fast and bumpy to the left and right! almost flying off anytime. I was worried that ah gong couldn’t take it. But its actually mum who closed her eyes all the way down. Lol.

There goes ah gong~ I bet he didn’t try these in decades.

The ride left some trauma in da yi and mum, we took the Ferris wheel to cool down.

I still dare to eat ice-cream Utterly Regret.

Why? Look at the weather! It’s 15 degree Celsius. Was shivering and eating throughout the way.

Next, we went to go kart bt no cameras allowed. Haha everyone in shower cap is funny.

Then, Dinosaurland.

It’s really a highland. Visibility is less than 500m~1click.

I saw the sign at the park, “What Makes a Dinosaur a Dinosaur?” The ans is it is to be displayed at theme parks and scare all those young little ones and make them have nightmare all day long. Evil huh.

Went for lunch and gugu say meet at 8p.m. the rest of us went to our rooms and took a short nap. I woke up earlier and roam around the highland.

It’s nth much.actually. When I was younger. Everything was wa~~~ But now. Oh only.

Had dinner and we decided to go to the casino. I got stopped! Because of my baby face. Dammn it. Now I’m left alone to walk around. Sigh.

Only star bucks accompanied me. Thank You Star Bucks! Having said that. There’s ard 5 stars buck in a vicinity close to each other. Haha.

So you won’t drop out of caffeine in any way.

I decided I can’t juz walk around all night. I got to find something to do. Thank god, there’s a cyber café. I met a new friend there. His name is Nicholas and his from Singapore as well and only 12 years old. He asked me whether want to play command and conquer.

I said ok. He gets really sad when I defeated him. Hence I propose the idea of tag team and he got really excited. Haha. Played till 2 a.m. and he still wants to continue. By then, mum already called. She thought I went to a night club! Coz the background music was very loud because its juz beside a live band. -_____-

The sky cleared and the meander can be seen.

We went to Ah Huat Abalone Restaurant. Not abalone we ate but Dim Sum.I love dim sum. Makes my day.

Departure was at 1315 and time is 1200 so we went to star buck and chill.

I SERIOUSLY LOVE THE WEATHER! U can sit outdoor and it makes no difference in sitting indoor. In sg, you will perspire like mad! Why can’t Singapore grow higher. Lol.
