Chinese "Bak Kut Teh"

Well, tis is not another "expansion pack" of French "Bak Kut Teh" bt an authentic one. Tis time my family & I went to a new Bak Kut Teh Shop last sunday.

Its located just right opposite The Central. It was a rainy day.
The theme of the shop is pro-retro. With the hut & round marble table juz like an old kopitiam.

Bt one thing I like is beside each table, there's a Boiler to cook the kettle, a tap to wash your hand and friendly staff tat is always near you...

We ordered the usual. Soup with pork rib, Groundnuts, Fried Dough, Salted veggie, Pig Intestine and a pot of "Tie Guan Yin." *its a type of tea leaves*

I rmb in the past. Dad used to buy the tea pot or receive from his friends as a gift or smth. Then we would sit at the bar counter at our previous house and drink the tea. It was quite nostalgic coz it was simple childhood.

My Mum added on by saying last time my great grand father used to smoke the arabic dono wad smth like pipe and along with his teapot set. Lol. I didnt even noe tat.
And they say last time, in the coffee shop put Boiled Egg & they eat it along with the Kopi. Interesting huh?
