Red Cliff 2

Watched Red Cliff 2 with Jun Hui & Carine at Causeway point. Luckily tis is nt town or else it'd be seeing red on the screen which is the SOLD OUT sign.

So the show continues from Red Cliff 1. The moment the movie starts, it continues straight frm where it ends. The part where the soldiers were playing footballs.

What I like about the movie: is that John Woo still input humors in the movie amidst the tense serious scenes which is good. And he portrays the character to be super intelligent. Like you were cracking your head abt how to deal with the problem bt the character alr has an answer.

And John Woo spare no expenses on the fire scenes. The fire were just outrageously huge. The bombs were explosive. The soldiers were admirable sacrificing their life nt wholly for their country bt to go hme and eat with their family. Of coz the villain lost bt the ending is abit dramatic.

What I dislike abt the movie: The movie were alil off history. It focuses too much on football.
And Sun Shang Xiang & Xiao Qiao. It was abit draggy at tis 3 parts. And perhaps Part 1 had a alr set a high benchmark. So audience naturally have a higher expectations.
I felt it didnt reached the benchmark becoz it was nt awe in all parts of the movie.
