As usual, was early again. as wad fang said, i had cultivated a habit of being early/punctual. so in the end, i always have to wait for the rest. I guess I shld change tat habit so i need nt wait. so its nw they who wait for me *evil laughter*.
So met yihong, fang, chingy & jere at bugis junction. walked to Shawhouse which is a street away. phew. thght it was far. Zheng Fu Cai is located at level 1. When we walked in, there are only 2 tables of customers. We thght it was closed or smth. Bt its nt.
Look its empty
all the rave review abt the place doesnt indicate here for theres no crowd. i guess had to wait till dinner for the crowds to settle in. But suprisingly, the food is fresh.
for instance, the bacon. Its sliced nicely or the handmade fishball. Its has the nice salty flavor.rendy & phoon joined us later.
what i wld suggest is perhaps they cld add some music to spice up the atmosphere and turn on more air-con. coz the tom yam soup base is really choke spicy.
I ate and ate bt still don't feel full. hmm wonder why. afterwhich rendy & phoon left to work. while we went to the snookerium. yihong introduced a new poker game played on the billard table. Simply, whatever cards u hav in ur hands, u juz hit that ball's number.
One game really took very long. Its only in the end that makes the game exciting as one would try ways nt to let the person with 1 card win. We played 10cent/50cent juz for fun. Yihong won 1 ,jere won 1 and I won 1. so everyone was trying nt to make me score the last ball. lol.
